Join us at the "2nd Floor Gallery" in the heart of Pilsen, for a unique gallery and art experience.
Twenty-three
of Chicago's most interesting and inspiring artists (with a few
surprises from out of town) present "Ache" a night of art, fashion and
music.
Two rooms of the gallery are devoted to local fashion
designers and installation art, while the rest of the gallery is filled
paintings and photographs from Chicago's most favorite and promising
artists.
Audio tastiness is provided DJ Peter Propaganda,RobotPanicMusic and V8 with Kevin Miller live on sax. Glitterguts will
be joining us again with their traveling photo booth, so come lookin'
pretty and get you portrait taken (free of charge of course).

DeLuxe will be your hostess for the evening.

"Salon des Independants" is the first of a seasonal series of Art Shows done in the traditional style of French social gatherings with a modern twist- of course.
The goal remains the same: The appreciation of art and music while allowing artists the freedom to truly express themselves.
GIGI DELUXE is your hostess with the mostess and the event will feature artists, musicians, performers, and DJ's handpicked by her for each show.
Nineteen Hundred and One Gallery (1901 W. Belmont Ave.) has generously offered to house the first salon exhibit.
This a free event but donations are encouraged.
The Salon will house four DJ's spinning throughout the night, playing a wide mix of original music, Chicago house, punk, old school, jazz, electronica, industrial, and everything in between. For your visual pleasure we have sixteen different artists, ranging from painters, photographers, as well as live painting and live digital performance art.
